How does it affect the doctor's rating
The doctor's experience since 08/01/2024 does not affect the doctor's rating in any way.
Only patient reviews affect its rating.
How do patient reviews affect the rating?
The following review parameters affect the rating of the doctor and clinic:
- number of ratings given;
- average score;
- the detail of the review;
- the date when the review was left.
Ratings in reviews
When a patient leaves a review about a doctor or clinic, he scores according to 5 criteria from 1 to 5, where 1 is terrible, 5 is excellent. The published review shows an average score of 1 to 5, where 1 is terrible and 5 is excellent.
The more reviews and the higher the ratings, the higher the rating.
Sometimes a review about a doctor or clinic does not have ratings according to all criteria. This can happen for several reasons. For example, a patient left a review through a call center and told the operator that he could not rate the doctor for the effectiveness of the treatment. Such a review affects the rating less than a review with a full set of ratings. And sometimes the patient leaves feedback before the end of treatment and cannot objectively assess the effectiveness of the treatment.
For example, one patient left a review in which he rated the doctor according to all criteria, and the average score was 5.
Another patient evaluated the doctor according to only three criteria, and the average score was 4.
The review of the first patient will have a greater impact on the doctor's rating. The same rule applies to the clinic.
The rating will increase if patients give high marks on all criteria.
The clinic's rating onProDoctorov
It consists of reviews about the clinic and reviews about doctors according to the formula:

The rating based on reviews about the clinic and the rating based on reviews about doctors make up no more than 50% of the overall rating. Thus, they affect the rating equally.
Rating based on reviews about the clinic
The rating based on reviews about the clinic is influenced by all reviews left by authorized users on the clinic's page.
The rating based on reviews about the clinic is presented in two indicators: stars and «Популярность клиники».
The maximum possible number of stars is 5. «Популярность клиники»calculated on a scale from -10 to +10, while -10 and +10 are unattainable.
«Популярность клиники» – this is an additional indicator. It is needed in order to select the clinic that will be higher in the ranking if several clinics have the same number of stars.
Example:
The clinic «А»and the clinic «В»have the same rating – 5 stars. The clinic will be higher on the list «А»because it has a higher popularity index.
Rating based on reviews about doctors
It is calculated based on reviews of doctors working at this clinic. All reviews are taken into account.
The rating is also influenced by the number of doctors. The more doctors a clinic has on the portal, the more their reviews affect the rating. This indicator has the maximum effect on the rating if the clinic employs 100 or more doctors.
Example:
«А»There are 10 doctors in the clinic, and they have received 5 positive reviews in a week.
«В»There are 5 doctors in the clinic, and 5 positive reviews were also left about them during the week.
Both clinics will have a higher rating based on reviews about doctors, but the clinic «А»will have a slightly higher rating.

Detailed reviews
The doctor's or clinic's page may contain brief and detailed reviews.
Patients left brief reviews for ProDoctorovup to 2019. Now, in order to publish a review, the patient must tell in detail about his impressions after visiting the doctor or clinic: write what he liked, what he did not like. However, short reviews still remain on the portal. Detailed reviews have a greater impact on the rating than short ones.
This is what a short review looks like: there are no sections «Понравилось»and «Не понравилось».

The rating will increase if as many new detailed reviews with high ratings as possible appear on the doctor's or clinic's page.
Date of review
The newer the review, the more significant it will be for the rating.
The impact of a single review on the rating is getting smaller over time. A review completely ceases to have an effect if 15 years have passed since its creation.
The rating will increase if patients leave reviews with high marks.
User authorization
There ProDoctorovare reviews from authorized users and from unauthorized users. Users could leave reviews as guests of the portal, i.e. without authorization, until 2019. Currently, only those reviews whose authors have confirmed their phone number are published.
However, guest reviews still remain on the portal.
Reviews from unauthorized users do not affect the rating.
Finally
- The doctor's rating will grow if as many patients as possible leave reviews with high marks according to all criteria.
- The clinic's rating will grow if as many patients as possible leave reviews about the clinic and its doctors and give high marks according to all criteria.
